Job Description
Roto-Rooter, the Upstate’s premier provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services, is looking for a unique individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Relationship Manager. The selected candidate will have a dynamic phone presence, excellent problem solving and customer service skills, and a working knowledge of computer software. Essential functions of the position include:
- Providing world class customer service through scheduling, communication and follow-up with our customers.
- Communicating with technicians efficiently to maximize their productivity and ensure customer experience is excellent.
We are looking for an energetic, self-starter who will put the customer first! In addition to excellent customer service, the selected candidate will possess above average computer skills with solid typing ability, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask.
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate telephonically;
- Good knowledge of telephone and computer systems which includes accurate and efficient keyboarding (data entry and typing skills);
- Consistently strive to minimize the handle time of inbound calls while maintaining quality and full conformance with defined process requirements and business rules;
- Plan and organize work to maximize productivity in all customer service activities;

Service Plumber
Job Description
Roto-Rooter Plumbing, the largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services in North America, is looking for a talented, clean cut, well-spoken individual to join our company. Enjoy a great team atmosphere at a thriving family owned company, in operation since 1984.
We are looking for someone who can work independently in a service plumber role. Your duties, while not limited to the following, will include:
- Maintaining plumbing systems and explaining to customers their options when encountering any plumbing issues.
- Performing work under safe working conditions.
- Installing and repairing plumbing systems.
- Locating pipe positions, connections and passage holes with the ability to properly cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Maintenance of all supplies, tools and equipment.
- Other duties as normally assigned to a Licensed Plumber.

Job Requirements

Fleet Mechanic Manager
Job Description
Roto-Rooter Plumbing, the largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services in North America, is looking for a talented, clean cut, well-spoken individual to join our company. To serve our customers by maintaining and repairing the company’s fleet of 20 vehicles according to established company standards and federal law to ensure the safety, reliability and functionality of the fleet. Job Duties
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with company vehicles (e.g. tractors, trailers, vans, cars, diesel engines, Backhoes, trenchers, excavators); repairs vehicles according to established company standards and federal law.
- Performs preventative maintenance (e.g. oil changes, tire rotations) on company vehicles according to established guidelines.
- Responds to vehicle break downs that occur outside of the facility (e.g. diagnose, repair, switch out equipment as needed).
- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures
- Communicates with: co-workers regarding repair status on equipment; internal customers regarding vehicle repair needs; supervisor regarding vehicle repair issues.
- Transports equipment to outside maintenance shops for repair work not completed in-house.
- Orders parts and maintains parts inventory.
- Maintains cleanliness and assists in the organization of the fleet garage (e.g. cleans up spills, properly disposes of used parts).
- Completes Federal annual inspection reports, preventative maintenance records, service repair order forms, time-off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

Pump Truck Driver, CDL Required

To serve our customers by troubleshooting, pumping and cleaning septic tanks for our customers in the Upstate. Experience preferred but not necessary. Local driving only. Company paid training. A CDL is required for this Driver position.
Job Duties
- Pump and clean septic tanks as directed
- Troubleshoot and repair septic systems
- Locate and dig up tanks when required; this is a physically demanding position
- Follow all DOT requirements for CDL drivers
- Strong customer service skills needed
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
